Should be an interesting olympics. Hopefully the country will come together for a few weeks and cheer on the Red, White, and Blue

I am so excited about the Olympics that I plan to put peaches in my panties and dance around until my knees bleed.
Just one thought: The power of television has gone too far when they set the men's marathon to start in the afternoon. Its so hot, it'll turn into a death march.

I never heard the answer to this one though -
In the opening ceremonies, Greece always is the first country to enter the stadium, and the host country the last. How they gonna do it this time?

I don't know but I'd be tickled pink if Travolta and Olivia newton John came out and did a number...

Spent much of the day yesterday watching soccer matches on Telemundo. You can't go wrong with Ghana vs. Italy (or Japan vs. Paraguay, for that matter), and the announcer who holds the word "GOAL!" like an opera singer. I swear someone scored, I went downstairs for a sandwich, came back, and he was still in the middle of "GOAL!".
Pure genius, I tells ya.
