my name is blue - and i'm a crushaholic.
have you ever dated in the office/work environment? how'd it pan out for you?
we have an unofficial rule at work that there is "no fishing in tim's pond" (no datin' fellow horton employees). because we really can't afford that kinda tension (or lack of productivity).
nevermind those people that have relationships, and start up the proverbial "buddy" friend, who well is only just a buddy, but the "buddy" part ain't really the basis of the relationship (if you get what i mean ).
work and the opposite sex are two complicated things that don't need to be combined. it's right up there with "drinking with your s/o", you just don't do it...
why am i posting you ask? well lets just say the new girl is cute, fits in well, works hard, hit it off on the first shift together, and is *exactly* the kind of girl that gets a boy in trouble if he doesn't keep his head on straight and gets a little to "comfortable" in said buddy relationship. i am well behaved, but lemme tell yah - it ain't freakin' easy. i'm doing my best to difuse the situation - but y'know somedays your mind just doesn't want to work *for* you.
say it with me now "i will not step over the line of comfortable office flirtation... i am aware of the proximity infactuation phenomen... i will not become a victim..."
on a side note - for all the no drugs, no booze, no sex, and other "keep your head on straight" commitments i've made in life - a cute girl will RUIN everything. (and one cute girl will make it all better). foooocus
damn you all.

Had a friend that used to say "Don't get your meat where you get your bread..."
Not sure I totally agree, but I'm with ya. Workplace crushes can be something else!

that is the plan. i've never been one to trade in longterm for short term novelty.
