not the sport from the James Caan movie, but the requel welch movie -
I talking to another, younger riff raffer who had never heard of roller derby. My nana loved watching it, wrastling too.

I am old enough to remember Roller Derby. The was a woman who played for KC, I think, went by the name "747" and she was as mean as she was big. I can remember watching it late night on tv.
Believe it or not, there is a roller derby leaguge here in Austin...some pics for you
