I know you know why my wife hasn't received it yet, you're just not telling me. So c'mon, out with it! It always comes on the monday after payday, and payday was friday. It didn't arrive today, so where is it?
I figure you know as much as I do about why it didn't arrive, although I was just grilled about it from the stbx. I thought some of you might have an idea as to why stbx didn't receive her check today. 
oh, and if your water pipes freeze, I guess that will be my fault too

Well I must confess. I spent it to Elkid, Noley, and RLAG to parley it in Vegas. I was trying to help you out, but from the early reports it appears that they spent it on food which Noley was dropping on people.
And those water pipes will definitely be your fault!!!!

It's that dang bank holiday last Monday.. the whole system hiccups while 4 days of banking gets squished into 5.
Being "the payroll guy", I also know, inevitably there is at least one check/stub per run that is late/delayed. It's a postal thing I'll never understand.
Can she get on direct deposit?

It got delivered down here by mistake. Since the mail here is controlled entirely by several very big stoners who deliver and send things back when they feel like it, even when the address is correct, she'll never see it. Sorry 'bout your luck.

PA has wage attachment so I never see that money. I have no control over when she gets that check.

alright Keltic, since you're taking the blame for things...it's 24 degrees here this morning. To a Texan, that's like -100. Bring my morning temps of 40's back, or I'm calling the stbx and telling her that you're getting remarried the day after the divorce to a wealthy widow, quitting teaching, and sailing around the world. All this to avoid having your wages garnished, and being out of the country, there isn't a thing she can do about it.
