I've learned:
- 40 degree weather and "one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" Christmas socks have amazing therapeutic effects on the brain
- time management is definitely a skill, and I'm pretty damn good at it
- sometimes you have to let people make their own choices and mistakes, no matter how much it hurts you to watch them do it
- homemade pickles and gummy lobsters are deee-licious
- two hours + one large = very fine lookin' 'medic

Now. You. Go.

I have learned

- today is a good day to turn on the fireplace.
- I can screw around all summer and still finish my semester a week early.
- hubby still knows how to cook, or at least reheat; he just needed the opportunity to prove it.
- I need to pay attention to my socks.
- disney.com costumes are way expensive.
- if my final paper for theology is strong, I will walk out of that class with an A. Surpising.

I have learned
-that the Eating Disorder can sneak up behind me and grab me when I'm not looking
-when it does, I don't have to stay there too long
-I need to speak my mind more often
-when I do, the world doesn't end

I learned:

I have no self-control when the boss is away.

Sometimes a dinner of fishsticks, macncheese, and canned greenbeans is all it takes to make things right with the world.

Carb loading is FUN!

Taking three seconds to at the big kid who messed with your little kid is enough to make him .

Repairmen don't like it when you make them pinpoint exactly what the problem is.

Seemingly incongruous music styles make for one rockin' mix.

Edited because the way I spelled seeming was frickin' hilarious.

I cry when Abby says "ow", when she never said it before. I know she was really in pain but I learned that daddy can still make it better by holding her.

That if a teacher speaks a language other than English, you probably should put in a couple minutes studying his native language before the exam, because the exam won't be in English either.

My apartment can go from passing the white glove inspection clean to health department biohazard in 0.2days... Shocked

My finishing Chicago is becoming less and less certain.

My not-move to Chicago last year was a great thing (its taken a year to figure this out).

I have some awesome awesome friends.

- The empty space in our lives is being filled nicely (thanks especially to four RRs - I would hope you know who you are - for the conversations), thank you.

- I not only survived my first half-marathon, I thrived in it.

- It should not be this cold in the morning for at least another two months.

- You can change the stadium, but you can't change the team.

-that some women never graduated from jr high....(basically why is it makes women feel good to talk about and ridicule others).

It's good to be home, even if it feels a bit odd.

Shopping for a washer and dryer can be fun. Beige looks better than stark white, and opting for the king size was a good move.

Shopping for a HDTV can be even more fun.

I like picking out my own furniture.

I did a great job (with some guidance from MW) picking out carpet and tile. I like it more every day.

I am going to a wedding "stag" for the first time in my life, and I am going to be the crazy uncle Mr. Green

I am looking forward to running the 1/2 mary in Maine on Sunday.

I am much stronger than I would have guessed. Both mental and physical.

I can deal with almost any major problem life can throw at me, and smile.

The management at the local Wendy's has learned that it is easier to give me what I want, with no lip, than it is for me to get angry and clear the place out.

I am so lucky to have MW pink love

i learnt that:

-sometimes bad things happen to good people (pray for Dan Snyder, and Dany Heatley)
-i don't get enough variety in my diet.
-i really like pasta and chicken.
-it's futile to argue with my marketing prof. he really actually has no idea what your talking about.
-despite the fuss i think i'll do fairly well on my account midterm.
-i do have time to work out and i enjoy it.

oh and i learnt how to get that friggin' gold statue in wario world...
