On 12/26 or later, no doubt. |
Priorities reassessed. Schedule reorganized. Procrastination problem licked. Truth, justice, and the American way preserved.
It's not the death and destruction....I've encountered them, many times over...it's the eternal damnation that lit the fire. Well, that and the date of it being published.

I've learned:
-If you allow your children to decorate the tree, ornaments only go on the tree from the mid-section down.
-That Little Nolefan's love the nightly drives around the neighborhood to see the lights. A great way to spend time together.
-I have to wrap every single gift sent from the inlaws for my children (6 boxes were shipped here). Should I just send out their gifts unwrapped?
-That my race is now less than a month away and I'm nervous.
-That I need to sit back and have a good drink tonight after the week/past couple of days I've had. Rolling Rock...got any good suggestions?

If you sent the gifts unwrapped, would they get the message?
Good suggestions? Well....I can't think of many bad ones.

I've learned:
And, oh yeah! The longer I sit here and read these responses, the less time I have to carry out my chore.

1) I refuse to stoop...but the thought has crossed my mind, yes.
2) I'll let you know what drink I decide on then later.

- There is now a Starbuck's just one block from my job. And that makes 3 from work to the train station (about three blocks' distance).
- The boss's actions the last few days have made my decision on how to deal with her retirement party an easy one. Real easy.
- There are other RRs who know of Oils music before there was "Beds Are Burning." And like it.
- This running indoors for part of the winter may not be as bad as I first thought.

-Snowshoeing at night with 4 boys is a whole loto fun!
-Running 18 miles before work isn't the best idea.
-Baking a gazillion christmas cookies can make me sick to my stomach and yet I can't help myself when they come out of the oven.
-This is the LAST year (And I mean last year) I make the PIA cookies that Happy loves-so enjoy the last batch you'll ever see.

I have learned:
- that procrastination can lead to and compound a problem.
- that a beer tastes better when the chores are finished.

That "eyes on the prize" is just a dumb motto when you're slogging through it but is DELICIOUS when you're at the prize.
That when I need to, I can still memorize like a banshee.
That a beer with people you've been in school with but not spoken to does wonders for getting to know and like them.

I've learned too late that I should have married Sue. Mrs. H would burn me at the stake if I tried to purchase another high dollar road bike. |
Sue's Hubby has good taste...Kestrels rock!!! Love mine, but I have some catching up to do seeing I only own one

I learnt to never trust classes that weigh easy on the midterms but blow you away on the final exam when it's worth 60-70% of your grade-that's just evil
My exams are done (Yippee!!!) though I have a lab report due next week
Running 6 days and 40+ miles a week injury-free is not a problem for me anymore
Heart rate monitor training works!
