-I learned that PH has an aversion to large automobiles.

-I also learned to not stress out if you don't put your miles in.

I have been waiting for this all morning!!!! Mr. Green

I learned:

-- that sometimes all it takes to straighten out a bad attitude is a PM from a good buddy.....thanks MW!!! pink love

-- that things are not always what they seem, especially when there's a man involved burning mad

-- that every assclown we meet along the road of life just makes us love & appreciate the people in our lives who are NOT even more Very Happy

-- that I am SO glad to be back running again, even if I am slow as roadkill and can't go very far yet fubby

-- that Fall is SO worth suffering through summer to get to!!! Dancing Banana Dancing Banana

-- that no matter how bad things seem, life goes on and it always gets better

-- that I knew all along what I wanted to be when I grow up, it just got modified a little Confused

All in all: I'd give this week four out of five fubbies!!! fubby

I've learned:

-That brand new cars/vehicles smell good when you first get them. They're fun to drive too.

-That my oldest daughter is not the way I was as a child when it's time to compete. She not only follows through and competes...she does it with great confidence. Mr. Green

-That spending two weeks this past summer with an elderly, dieing friend for a few hours after a run each day made his passing easy this week. He knows how I felt and holding his hand in silence was a beautiful experience. God rest his soul. I'm ok with not being able to make his funeral.

-That this RR group has a unique, creative edge when it comes to writing! It's amazing how entertaining you can be with your words.

Time off and a few extra pounds does not make for a good track workout

Running with a friend is twice as fun

Home repair/improvement will never be done

You can be home alone in a full house

RR always gets me thru the day

When I speak my mind, even if it causes an uncomfortalbe moment, I feel MUCH better.

That sometimes speaking your mind TOO much is not the best Either, I need to be a little more impartial.

I am so happy that fall is here!! I love running in this weather.

I'm not THAT BAD at being in charge while the boss is gone!

After you've been sick, your first day of feeling well is like a new lease on life!

i learned that:

i can find my "home" in the faces of my two kids. they are such walking talking reminders of my own childhood

turning 10 is a big freakin' deal if you're in the fourth grade

my daughter will more readily listen to her mother about her soccer game than she will her father. Mr. Green

sprinkles don't stick to sugar cookies, evah. Mad

*After battling a cold/flu for 2 weeks, I'm 15 seconds slower per mile than I was before I got sick. (5k race pace, 1600 meter intervals, 400 meter intervals.... all work out to exactly 15 seconds per mile slower than 3 weeks ago.)

*Which also made me learn that I wouldn't be running a sub 18 in the months of September or October as I had previously planned.

*I learned that I might be able to order the Air Force vs Navy game on DirectTV tomorrow.

*prohemp cheers for evil sports teams

*airehead probably belongs to some type of cartel

Me, too... either that or they're so little and so many that it would be difficult to list them.

Letting drunken friends crash on your couch, while a fine idea to prevent drunken driving, can lead to an embarassing situation when you come downstairs to get a glass of water and they have no pants on! Embarassed

This neighborhood truly does suck now that my favorite neighbor moved...

Trying to find a decent bank in the Keys is harder than I thought it would be.

Trying to get a real estate agent to move her butt long distance is also a hassle (I'd think she would want the commission)

No matter how starved I think I am, eating half of a large pizza along with half a plate of spaghetti is not a good idea

(As an aside to Ranger g on the Wendy's thing...if you really want to have fun with the staff at a Wendy's, ask them for a caesar side salad with no bacon bits. The reaction is quite amusing. Management usually has to get involved)

No epiphany is too little to list. Really, for me it just helps me reflect back on this week and even if it's something that I think is little, it was still a lesson worth learning. Especially if it involved chocolate! Wink
