I'm out tomorrow (goin' rollahcoastin'!), so here we go.

I've learned:
- ignorance is never an excuse for stupidity
- the more expensive the shirt, the greater your chances of ice cream dripping on it
- just when you've given up on them and written them off, family members will surprise the hell out of you
- just because the cup says dripless does not make it so
- sometimes to achieve one goal, you must sacrifice another
- the intensity of the excitement I feel over the arrival of my best friend is frightening to those around me

in order to wake up on time, one must not only set the alarm but turn the alarm on.

being without sleep for a long time sucks

little kids running up to the door when you come home rocks.

I have learned:

toes are not to be trifled with.

you can be a bit jealous of your spouse and it's a hard thing to accept.

you want to fix your friend's lives--but can't.

preteens will always keep you guessing.

if all else fails, make brownies.

I have learned that:

Asking for help does not mean failure.

Somebody loves me. pink love

Putting your kid on a plane and watching it take off is a stressful experience. Shocked

My body has a sense of humor and will betray me by passing gas at the most inopertune moments. Embarassed

Redecorating a house is one of the funnest things EVAH! Dancing Banana

It really is OK to laze around for a whole day and not get anything done. The to-do list will still be there in the morning. Cool

As long as there is one man left on the planet, my life will never be free of drama. Neutral

Threads are difficult to lock

Riff Raff users prefer Salmon Sperm over Herring Testes by an almost 2-1 margin

robp got new racing flats

State Demographers from Minnesota probably don't own an atlas. And that's a "no-brainer".

Writing the text for one's own website can be a great venting device (as well as amusing to those around you)

In the vein of expensive shirts, add white shirts: if you wear one, crisp and freshly pressed, you will spill something on it. Usually in a location which invites comments which, while they may be perceived as great moments in wit by the commentor, are, in general, not the least bit humour inducing to the commentee.

If you've never eaten meatloaf in your life, don't try it on a lark.

It's usually a lot easier to buy another printer than attempt to configure a three year old model.

There is no good use for dog hair (unless one of you wonderful people may have found one; if so, please share). On that note, how can a whole front yard of hair be obtained by brushing a 40 pound dog?

that 4 weeks of class = complete and total burnout

that in an effort to procrastinate I'll do some pretty interesting things

that I still know very little about the nervous system and I'm going to be spending and hour or so bubbling in pretty little pictures onto a scantron in about an hour and a half.

Thank you. I think.

Did their use of "dog fur" and "sandwich" in the same sentence also give you the heebies, just a little?

I am SO glad you saw that! LOL

What's really sad is that you can get a whole bunch of stuff like that from Google... Shocked

If you move to Florida you can do that until your writing career takes off. The dog will be sure to shed 80 lbs/day of fur in that climate. fubby
