Uh, let's see.
- Beach to Beacon 10K in Maine. Meeting/dealing* with Maddie, Ranger, and numerous others. That all is week one.
- Weeks two and three are renting a cabin in Vermont. Close enough to Ben & Jerry's worldwide HQ to cause them to show a third-quarter loss. A race in Burlington.
- Week four (after one or two days home) is taking the kid to college in Colorado. Only drawback there is driving through the empty quarter that is western Kansas and Nebraska.

What I learnt this week...
1) Sandy Cheeks and Omega Lambda are science geeks like me and crazyfrog
2) I learnt how to cook for myself while my family's away-sphagetti, baked fish, potatoes, steamed clams, rice, and have fun doing so at the same time (no not the cleanup)
3) I learnt why my mom gets stressed out sometimes over housework
4) I learnt how to starve caterpillars for 3 hours and then feeding them with leaf discs treated with anti-feeding insecticide. 
5) This place rocks!!

My cell phone drops calls at the WORST time
Friends are invaluable
ElKid was right about Pirates of the Carribean, but I'll never admit it.
Humidity bites...heck summer bites (okay. learned that last week, but it seemed worth repeating)
I like this place.
