Was there chocolate chips. malted milk balls or M&M's in the trail mix??
Chocolate is toxic to dogs..

My dogs have eaten more chocolate than I care to think about over the course of their lives. I don't believe in the chocolate toxicity story.

I've heard the same about cats and aspirin, too. There's either exceptions to the rule, or it may be (urban) legend.

It would appear nothing happens to a dog after eating all those marshmallows. Did I mention he cleaned out the sugar bowl at the same time? In fact, he liked them so much he ate the replacement bag just last night
