I'm choosing classes for next spring, and see that three of my stupid requirements that I wish to take at the community college - Principles of Marketing, Business Law, and Principles of Finance - are all offered at the same time at the local campus. FRIDAY NIGHT, 630-925pm! I could take them downtown at main campus, but then they're offered on SATURDAY MORNING, 900-1200! Talk about penalizing night students!
Looks like I'm taking one here on T and one at the "real" college on M. So much for accelerating the program. Then again, 3 classes now IS a bit much ....

I feel for ya. Happened to me lots during my junior & senior years in college. The only thing I can say is maybe they will add an additional class time for one of those so you can take it.

On the surface I guess. But I already have a college degree. I work full-time and am taking classes part/time to earn my teaching certificate. When I was your age I carried 4-6 classes a semester while working 50-60 hours a week to pay for school. Wow, I thought I had it easier back then. Guess not.
I'm thinking of taking two "live" classes and one internet-based one. Though I don't know if I could pay attention enough to stay online. MW - you're enhanced like me: what do you think of that idea?

I have often thought about it. I think it might work better for people like us, because we can be doing other things while the lecture goes on in the background. I listen better when my hands are busy, and I don't know how many times I have tuned a teacher out and gone somewhere else in my head because I had nothing to do with my hands.
I see laundry folding potential here.
In addition, sometimes web-bases classes will give you the work, submit your assignments, etc. by e-mail and discuss topics via message board. The only time you see the prof is to take the tests..

save the marketing class for when your load is heavier and you need an easy class. Finance and Business law should be the harder of the 3 IMHO...although I always enjoyed Business law. Finance I ranked up there with economics
