I have some friends who are into that big time. They invited me and the hubby out to play and had everything we needed so it was free! They have a bunch of acres at their in-laws house and have forts and stuff built in the woods. It's fun but I couldn't afford to make it a hobby of my own.

I would really love to go paintballing sometime. I'd probably suck at it because guns require coordination and I'm not coordinated, but it would still be fub to run and shoot and stuff.

The first time I ever went paintballing it was with the hubby's ball team for a end of season party. I was feeling like it was so stupid and childish and far, far beneath all of us. Within five minutes of hitting the course I was bolting back to the clubhouse screaming "I need a bigger gun!"
The adrenalin totally takes over and you become this dirt eating, belly crawling Rambo type. I can go through 100 rounds in under 5 minutes. And I'm accurate, too.
My only advice is to just wear lots of layers. The paintballs hurt like h*ll, especially at close range.

All the PIA teenagers in my town paintball in the park at night.
Then they leave paint pellets and broken beer bottles all over the place for us grownups to pick up when we walk our dogs.

Dancer - Maybe your dogs could leave them some 'treats' next time they're belly-crawling through the bushes.
