Hang in there Keltic. I know pretty much what you're going through as I've been through it also. Believe me, it will get better. Your kids will adjust also when they realize that your feelings for them haven't changed. I don't know your situation 100% but in mine the soon to be x has spouted off some nasty nasty stuff to both my kids and some of our friends. She thinks she's damaging me - all shes done is shoot her own self in the foot. Keep your cool and stay above the nasty stuff.

I am truly sorry to hear this Keltic - When you exhaust all the means of trying to save a marriage - the hard decisions need to be made for the good of all those involved, regardless of public perception. Take care of yourself and especially your children - They will be needing you. My prayers go out to you and your children.....

First off, you should never care what others say about you. What matters is what you think about yourself.
Second off, I know what you're going through re. eating disorder. PM me if you need to, but I really feel for you. Particularly sucks that it's being used against you. Best of luck to you and your kids.

I don't know you that well (at least what I couldn't pick up from lurking) but you seem to be a caring and considerate person and also a responsible parent. Sometimes though you have to do things that are best for you. A family is only as strong and as happy as the people who form that unit are.
Take care of yourself and I hope that things work out for you and your family.

I'm so glad you decided to go public with this, I know how much you've been struggling and I hope you can really feel the love and support flowing your way from everyone here. No one has the right to judge you, like several others have said, til they stand where you are right now. Which means never.
