1st phone call: local newspaper.....want to get my thoughts on the local marathon. Cripes, I've lived here 4 months, where did they get my name??
2nd phone call: this is Shopko. You've won tickets to "The Producers". tonight.....sorry for the late notice
3rd phone call: I was told to call this number and ask for Dr. Ellisberg. ?????we don't have one of those Dr's here. They told me to call 969-**&^. Yep, that what you called but this is a different doctor's home phone.
4th call: no, I'm not answering.....shoot it's ringing

aw come on, you know.....I told them I enjoyed the 1/2 last year. I left out the stuff about my experience with the full 2 years earlier--knowing that they only want to hear positives.  I told him it was neat to run behind the local favorites and have people run out and take pictures and cheer them on.
