Best friend's hubby calls and asks me if I have time to do some seamstressing work. Before I agree, I ask what it is. He says mending his coveralls. I say 'don't you have a wife for that sort of thing?' He says she's not done it in forever and so now he's trying to farm the work out.
I said there is no way in heck I am getting in the middle of that potential domestic dispute. He didn't seem to understand that asking his wife's best friend to do the mending may lead to friction.

Will he be 'wearing' the coveralls while you're mending? Then it could get sticky... Confused

I'm thinking that may be an option. I could embroider 'jackass' on his chest while. he. waits.

I say if there is going to be friction, what better place to have it than your best friend's hub's inseam!

I sooner stick a needle in my eye then sew anything. I'd let my best friend do it any day!

one. weird though, I bought a sewing machine on Friday. It's still in the box. Now, I know, I was severely depressed last week of sumpin'. But if you see me wearing something that looks like a mess, be sure to compliment me Mr. Green
