Wasn't to shabby. One of those weekends where you have a lot to do and not enough time to do it in.

All over thumbs up! Had a ton of fun on our little "getaway" for a night; great times the rest of the weekend as well! And 2 very good runs!

Friday:
-chilled w/Joy
Saturday:
-Got up early and ran 5 mile race w/Rando and Paul (note: this has been well documented in the Race Reports)
-begrudgingly drove back up to attend the last freakin wedding of the year!!! IT was a beautiful wedding and I saw alot of unique things there. The only downer was the the DJ was T E R R I B L E. I've seen some bad ones before, but this guy was a total assclown. For the first hour, he'd play a song, and then go off somewhere, the next song would start so he'd appear and 'pretend' to change the song (when we all knew that it was a mix CD he was playing). a group of guys were actually talking about jumping him...
So, he cleared out the reception hall pretty fast so we hit the bars and had a grand ol time...
Sunday:
-slept in
-cleaned apartment
-Joy's parents and our two nieces came up from West Bend and we headed up to Appleton to go to Funset Boulevard (video games, bumper cars, laser tag). Then we went to the mall and then on to Chi Chi's.
-Came home Sunday night, watched the TV movie "Hell on Heels" and lifted weights.
THUMBS UP weekend...looking forward to a relaxing one in 5 days!

Thumbs mostly down
A couple cool things happened, fun 10 mile race, time with a friend I never get to see, awesome weather but most of my highly anticipated plans were changed last minute and the BF and I got into an as of yet unresolved disagreement....

THUMBS UP!
Lots of relaxing and sleeping in! Saturday we went out to my FIL's house on the lake. Took some food and ate on the dock, relaxed, sat in the sun, even took a swim in the pool. It was a beautiful day and so nice to just relax with my hubby. Sunday my hubby finished putting the crib together and we worked on organizing the nursery, cleaned out some closets and got lots of stuff ready for Salvation Army. Very productive!!!!
All in all a very nice weekend!

Friday
Left work early. Went to Olive Garden to Carbo Load (or that was the excuse. Watched The Scorpion King. Tried for a good luck on your race nap and went to bed early.
Saturday
Got up early to race. Got pinched by the 5 0 with Rando.
Had a great time at the race with my Mafia brothers. "When you are here you're family" (am I sensing a theme here...)
The wife went to the Badger game with my sisters so the house was mine. Cut the lawn and played and walked the dog. Spent the evening sitting on my rear watching Hart's War. Went to bed early. I was beat.
Sunday
Got up and went to church.
Cleaned the house.
Played with the dog.
Made a pork roast.
Tried for a good job on the race nap and went to bed early.
I am thinking
