Able to relax a bit. See some old friends...toss the occasional cookie. It was all good in the neighborhood.
Thanks for asking,

C- Too Sat. and Sun. off from training. It's gotten to be that training is a chore and I though if I forced myself away from it for a few days that I get more out of it. Seems to have worked, I was up and at 'em for my run this morning.
Spent most of my time drafting, learning Illustrator or playing with my daughter's new keyboard (watch out Elton John). Did a little baking but not much.
Weather was beautiful which made it that much harder to not train all weekend.

A+
Spent the weekend in Dallas with the BF and had a great time at the Texas state fair--a first for me. Saw Dixie Chicks, Pat Green, Jerry Jeff Walker, Charlie Robison and friends in concert at the Cotton Bowl Saturday night, most excellent. All around great weekend.

True. Or, as I like to put it, any day above ground is a good one...
Excellent weekend!!!!
Scorch, Tina (frog from here) EJ, Simon, Gloria were in town for the Columbus marathon. Keith, Larry (B/F) and I went to this bizarre play on Friday, then out to see a band. Very fun.
Saturday, met up with the rest of the gang for lunch/packet pick-up (for those running, not me) and then we got together for dinner later. Awesome dinner; everyone had a good time (I think!).
Sunday - went down to see of Simon, Tina, EJ and some other friends locally who were running. It was a damn cold race start and I am really glad I wasn't in for this one.!! Got to cheer everyone on at mile 16 and then see some of the group finish! EVERYONE DID AWESOME!! I know Tina had a PR but I'll let her tell it....
Had an awesome dinner Sunday with mussels and clams and all kinds of other goodies, then out to see a band...Today has been pretty relaxing, tomorrow, back to the grind.
