this is gonna be a sucky weekend.....I'll be spending most of it sulking because I am not in Florida having fun with Kristin. Plus, I am sick as a dog so I guess it's just as well I am staying home. Hacking like a maniac and spent all yesterday in bed. Blech. I took the time off anyway even though I had canceled my trip, because I desperately needed some ME time after running back and forth to my parents' and the hospital...my mom is back in again. I was kinda hoping to get some stuff done at home but so far I feel like crap.
I think today I am going to make some homemade chicken soup and one of froggie's pumpkin smoothies and sit around sulking.
To boot, one of my patients went out on pass yesterday and got attacked by a rottweiler. Had to go to the ER for stitches and now he has to go out for the series of rabies shots. Poor kid.....thank God my partner across the hall was there to take charge of things.

I am carless for the time being, so me and the kiddies are home.
The weather is beautiful here. 67º sunny.
I am working on a finance presentation spreadsheet for our parish
If I get my car back, I headed out to my mom's tomorrow

You and I have a TON of luck. Unfortunately it's all bad.
I hope you feel better. I'm working today and prolly part of tomorrow (although I may blow THAT off.) You're not missing much, and it's hotter here in September than it usually is. MIL, of all people, is bitchin about it, and she never really gripes about much.
Maybe you can come forFantasy Fest in October, as it looks like we're gonna be here a little longer than we thought. The weather will be a lot cooler, and I'd LOVE to see this before we leave. I think you'd enjoy too! We're looking, but we;'re not making the same mistake we made last time, ya know?
Take care of yourself!!!
