I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. Slacks and a button down is good enough for me.

Us wimmins have it easy. Go for a sleek strappy sundress type. Macy's is a good choice.

If it is black tie optional I would go for the option rather than the more casual approach. I would pick a "little black dress" to wear with some strappy high heels. Add some fancy jewlry and you are good to go.

Yeah, the wimmins at those black tie optional things usually come dressed to the nines. Definitely the little black dress, or a little red one if you're feelin' sassy...............Macy's or Strawbridge's always have a great selection of cocktail dresses.

I think I'd choose my pink hawaian shirt, coonskin cap (freshly drycleaned of course) and some oversized shorts hanging down over my boxers for my grand entrance....

I was thinking the Modern Maturity crew might be more appropriate...

one of my husband's partners showed up like that at a business dinner at an upscale restaurant. I felt so bad......cuz I've been there. My first encounter with hubby's group was an invite to a house party that said "casual". I wore khakis and nice shirt (which is actually dressy, not casual to me). I get there and the ladies are in dresses and skirts . I call hubby's group the "la-de-das" hubby calls them "hoity-toitys"
