 Posted: 01/18/03 - 13:48 Post subject: we are currently dealing with an armed suicidal suspect..
right now. His girlfriend took off from out of the residence and called us. He took off before we got there and we are out looking for him. He is armed with a .45 and is extremely agitated.
I am working the commander right now trying to get necessary background on this dude.
This job does get hairy sometimes.
Hope I can make my dads party.

Just taken into custody without incident. No one hurt
30 guns taken out of the dudes house though.
This one was close.

just got word that the following officers of RTPD are getting an accomodation for their actions today
Cp. Joseph Maguire, Officers Yespelkis, Evans, Wagenmann, Daly, Schreiber and Oaster for quick decisive action in the quick apprehension of a potentially deadly suicidal suspect with no injuries to any person or officers.
