While I don't agree with this procedure at all because it does seem barbaric and unnecessary given other options, the ban of it makes me fear further erosion of a woman's right to choose.

This thread is getting locked because abortion is the hottest of hot topics to start a flame war on the internet.

Everyone is either very 'for' or very 'against' and an argument on the internet isn't going to change anyone's views.

I'm not saying that you can't have views on abortion, I'm just letting you know that the abortion topic won't be discussed here.
