And I can't get it out. It's twisted around the agitator.

I didn't think those kinds of clothing could be put in a washing machine....

and evidently, I'm right about that.

I put in on the delicates CYCLE. I thought that would be good enough.
The drawstring from h*ll appears to have caused the problem. I've gotten the dress out, but it's still in there.

Good thing I 'm sitting on two cases of wedding wine. I need a drink!

It's a dress I painstakingly sewed for my bridesmaid to wear at my wedding, coming up this August.

Or skip the wine and go straight to vodka... or tequilla... or gin...

Thanks, MW, but I am managing to laugh about it now. I just know better than to wash the other three with the christly long drawsting in them. AND it gives me a great excuse to buy corded drawstrings instead of making them, since this one ain't coming out of the washing machine any time soon.

NAWWW I'm not getting on her case at all. I sat down with her and poured her that drink she wanted.

That's one of those prewedding things that just SEEM to happen... Much like the wrecked rental car that did not START out wrecked as I drove to the wedding... oops ...

I'm sorry it happened too...
