Is your training going well? Are you making the kind of progress that you were hoping for or are you not quite meeting your goals?

One of my goals is to run a mile for every person listed as a victim of 9/11. Here's the link.
I printed up 64 pages of names, and started my second page today. So yes, so far I'm meeting one of my goals.
And besides, it's excellent motivation for getting out the door.

So far so good for the new year. I'm building my base back up slowly. It was mid 20's/week for all of last year and it's up in the low 30's now. Starting to mix some consistent speedwork in also. I'm looking forward to April when my first races are scheduled.

Same here the 1st test is a 1/2 marathon in Myrtle Beach
then another 1/2 marathon in St Louis 2 months later.
If all goes well then Madison.

So far so good. 5 miles down, 10-13 more to go this week. It's been a pretty stressful week at work, so I may begin running 6 days/wk this week. Just taking it slowly and easily right now, making sure I get in the miles without getting injured.

I am already 12 miles ahead of pace for the year. Have been right on target so far.

Don't know what I am training for yet at this point. Right now I am mixing things up. lifting, running, swimming, and once the weather gets wamer...cycling.
Leaning toward a summer triathlon.

My goal was basically to NOT train, but to just run for the pleasure of it, not stress over performance and just count distance as the main marker for what I'm doing. Consequently, I have had two of the best, most enjoyable runs of my life in the last two days, so yes, I am right on track. Other than Madison, I may never race again!
Over halfway to this week's goal of 25 miles! WHEEEE!!!

I think I'm doing well, staying on schedule and making sure I'm putting in the miles I need to train for a half marathon. My pace has been a concern, but I try to be reasonable about this. I'm thinking that I have to start speedwork (in the Spring), make my new eating habits routine, and be patient to see a change in pace.
I wish there were winter races in IN or WI, but I haven't seen any listed. Would love to get a race in before Madison. Maybe a 5K or 10K.

It's not going quite as well as I'd hoped. I seem to get injured every 4 - 6 weeks. I tried cutting back the intensity (i.e., slowing down), and now the only thing left to cut back is mileage.
I guess maybe I tried to do too much in the first year of running. Maybe the injury-gods will smile on me this year. Or ignore me altogether.

My training is going pretty good, but if work would stop sending me on the road it would be great. I have had a tough time lately running all 6 days of my training schedule. I am hoping that once things get warmer my pace will become a little quicker. (Not having to run though 3 layers of clothes should help.)
