How come in certain pictures the Turf at Veterans Stadium looks silver? or am I seeing things or is wet tonight?

softer than astro turf
but more durable than grass

Thanks I heard of that stuff, I think Illinois uses it also. I just never saw it on a field before. The Purdue game was during the day so it looked like normal grass.
