A friend has just got me involved in a 3K charity run in aid of breast cancer!!
The run is scheduled for June this year and I have to be the most unfit stereotypical couch potato ever!! I went for my first gentle jog earlier today and it nearly killed me!!!..... sore throat, painful knee (have had surgery 1 year ago) and complete embarassment at the state of my less than fit physique trying to haul itself along at a pace slightly quicker than a stroll!!
As soon as I got myself back on the sofa I did a little research and came across your post!!! Its brilliant and I cant wait to get out there tomorrow morning!!!
Any other tips for beginners would also be greatly appreciated!!
