are odd. I personally like them, but many people don't and I can see why. It's a perspective that you're not used to. I was looking at some pictures from 3 years ago. Wow I look young. Makes me feel old to say that, but I look back at these pictures and I just look so young... like it's so far away. And other things in the picture... it's such a time warp. I was 18 at the time, and of course that's young, but looking at the picture it's almost unidentifiably young. Like I'm not the same person as I was. And in many ways I'm not.
Eh, just my rambling reflection for the night.

Wait until you get into your 30's and 40's
or look at baby pictures of your own kids then get school pictures of them

Try looking at pictures when you were really fat as I was. I look at the pics and go "wow, I was obese. Why didn't I do something about that sooner"?

I hate looking at pics of myself (except my avatar, LOL!) I seldom take a good pic. I'd rather be the photographer than the subject.

i have some pics of me from my field ecology class. its pre braces and i have no make up on.  wow, i look sooooo different!
everytime we get together with the bfs dads family, im amazed at how big all the little kids are. we we started dating, his cousins the triplets were barely walking. now they are almost 9 years old. and almost taller than me.

Two things I've never liked about myself. One, I do not take good pictures. 95+ % are horrible. I hardly ever have all the necessaries for a good shot - relaxed, an unforced smile, hair looking half-way decent. Those who got our card saw a very rare one that I like.
And two is my voice (if my voice mail/answering machine is typical, it's a skeptical yet bored tone).

but you look smashing, Darlin', in your Christmas pic you sent around! And what sweet kiddos!
I agree with Cappy. I look at pictures of my daughter and think, whoa, someone stop time because this kid is growing up waaay too fast.

or really skinny as I was 2 years ago but at the time, in my mind, I was fat.....was actually trying to lose another 15 pounds.
