Hey this is my first post in r and r at this site!
Anyway, ran a half marathon on Saturday. I was hoping for 7:30 miles and a finishing time of @ 1:38. I finished in a dissappointing 1:48, for an avg of 8:21 a mile.
But I am keeping it in perspective, it was very hot, we camped out so I didn't sleep really good, my diet the day before the race was poor, so altogether it wasn't that horrible.
I was also proud of myself for fighting through a very tough patch during the race, and coming back to run the last four miles fairly strong.
