5. "She's so stuck up, she'd drown in a rainstorm."
6. "It's so dry, the trees are bribing the dogs."
7. "My cow died last night so I don't need your bull."
8. "Don't p*& down my back and tell me it's raining."
9. "He's as country as corn flakes."
10. "This is gooder'n grits."

from a friend from Alabama. And the scary thing is I've actually heard more than half of these in use...

I love the southern way of tearing someone up and it's okay, as long as you put "bless his/her heart" at the end.
For instance:
He fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, bless his heart.
Or:
She sings like three cats in heat, bless her heart..
or:
She actually thinks that outfit looks GOOD, bless her heart.
or:
My poor husband doesn't know I fake it, bless his heart.

I hear these quotes being said in movies all the time, just never knew if people really say that kind of stuff. I bet tourists find it hilarious when they hear someone say it in person. Funny stuff..
