I must have gotten more than 50 e-mails over the weekend and only one of them was actually to me. The rest were just spam.
I think it's time to change my e-mail address.

You can't stop them and changing your e-mail is almost as bad as moving. If you reply to get off the list that just confirms you are still using that e-mail and you get more.
Yahoo allows you to block some and you can report SPAM. They also mine e-mails off of messanger programs

We have something that blocks unwanted e-mails. I will ask hubby about it I'm sure you being the computer wizard you will know what he is talking about.

my isp i guess is pretty good about not selling their list
and i never request solicitations from sites i go to
when a few slip by i always unsubscribe
must be a pain in the arse

my hotmail account was letting spam through even with the junkmail filter on. i started unsubscribing and blocking whole domain addresses and it has cleaned up rather nicely.
