Yeah, I'm looking forward to it as well. Last year I was sick all day and didn't get to go to either of 2 places DH and the boyz went to for a meal. I had the worst sore throat I've ever had in my entire life. And what does my Dad send home for me to eat?? Not nice soft potatos and gravy but pecan pie. Shocked Felt like I was getting my throat raked out but I ate it.

The gym is closed that day but I go in for an hour to teach my class that is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last year was the first year I did it, my class begged me to so I did just for them. I had my largest class ever, 25. Then I went home and died cuz I was sick. Neutral

I'm looking forward to eating but that's about it. I'm not a fan of Thanksgiving.

It should be fun for us. My sister will be up from Florida. The day after we are going to a wedding, both the kids are in it.

So, really, how is the deep-fried turkey? Vs the traditional baked?

This Thanksgiving will be very different for us. Our son is staying out in Pueblo to work on his studies, and to work in general. He just is getting repairs done on his car, so it isn't worth the risk of him coming in and going back out a day later - either driving or flying. Sad

This means more food for us and an open invite for any Riff Raffers heading through town that day (like that's gonna happen!). Smile

T-day has always been one of my favorite holidays partly because it sometimes falls on my b-day.

This year we will be having the Family here. First holiday party in the house!
