trails in atlanta

do any of you atlanta peeps know any safe place to run besides by the river (chattahoochee nat rec areas) or kennesaw mtn? i live north of the city and dont want to drive too far.

i have been looking all over the net and the only decent site i can find is way out of date. and other than going to mtn bike trails and dodging bikes the whole time, im getting bored with the river.

look into joining Atlanta Fit. I am in the group and have found many new places to run and some decent people too.

Siver Comet.. great running.. asphalt paved trail.. 73 miles of it.
Buckhead.. some tuff tuff running.. great hills.. etc.
