Investigators Will Recreate Fiery I-85 Wreck

ATLANTA -- Investigators plan to recreate on Wednesday afternoon the fiery wreck on I-85 that left two people dead on Tuesday.

The wreck involved two dump trucks. It sparked a blaze that set fire to several other vehicles -- killing two people.

Witnesses told police that a driver trying to get in front of a line of traffic at an interstate exit cut in front of one of the trucks setting off the chain reaction crash.

I-85 southbound was shut down for almost 12 hours.

Traffic on the busy highway backed up for hours because workers had to wait for the smoky wreckage to cool before it could be cleared.
