they don't like my type over in OT - not smart enough.
I didn't think the Indians did a lot of turkey hunting. Too much work for too little reward. Turkey was sort of a special treat. Now if a turkey wandered by while an Indian was looking for deer he might get 'the shaft' ...

I bet they shot anything that moved.
Kind of how the Amish hunt here in Ohio. My husband had bought, for our Amish neighbor, a spotlight which runs off a battery. Can you say jacklighting deer?

Oh they very much did shoot whatever came by. But the goal was always the larger animals. At least the Plains Indians I used to study about them I was a boy.
Not a bright idea here. Folks have been know to fire a few shots in the direction of jacklights here.
