Pleasantly surprised to see all the votes out there for Chocolate licorice. Still though, Philly-area folks know the best is found at Zern's Market.

Ding ding diiiiing....rob gets the fancy pants beer!!!
Zern's is a farmers market out in the boonies, not terribly far from where I live. They have great produce and the best candy store anywhere near Philly. I concur completely, even though I hate licorice. Their other candy is good too
And fresh roasted peanuts.....mmmm......
And it's Philadelphia Inquirer.
