hey everyone......

I am just starting to get back into shape (or trying to at least!) and when I run or walk long distances the upper-inside of my thigh/groin gets pretty chafed, to the point where it is a struggle to keep the activity up.

I have tried the spray they sell in a drug store but that does not seem to be working that well, any suggesstions? Is it because my thighs are rubbing together?

any info would help, thanks!

I  body glide. It is a magical invention!

Some people do use vaseline but that just feels icky to me.

You can either purchase body glide at a running store or online.

Not at all. It's a weird substance. It is sticky, but it isn't. Vaseline greases you up and your legs would just not have much friction. I think body glide kind of keeps stuff from rubbing all up on each other. Works great on nipples.

For me, any runs longer than five miles, I wear compression shorts under the regular shorts. You might miss a spot with the BG or it could rub it off as you run. You eliminate that with the shorts.

Body Glide! It comes in a deodorant type package. They've even come out with a sunscreen one. Cool

Something that I've found that works just as good as Bodyglide, but is cheaper is gel deoderant/antipersperant - any of them. Plus, it keeps you smelling fresh Wink

I wear compression shorts everytime I run, they are a must in the heat down here. No problems since either. Very Happy
