Funny, I know less Canadians than I do gay people.
Now I've met a bunch of people. I've wondered if they were Canadian--but I couldn't tell. They acted like me, laughed at my jokes (or at me), they were even dressed like me.
But I wouldn't have ever guessed they were Canadian until they said so.....
(Except for that one guy who kept saying, "eh?"...)
*This is all tongue-in-cheek. No disrespect meant for gays or Canadians. Both have individuals I can really respect and like.

I've know a few. Even in the military !
Personally, it has NEVER made any difference to me. If we have commong interests we talk about them. Does being gay make you a better or worse (inset job here) ? I doubt it. If there's a job to do and you're the person with that job all I'd care about as a manager is the job getting done.
Lets face it; we don't go around talking to our hetero friends about their orientation, why should our gay friends be any different ?

Actually, the only sexual orientation I ever question is the one, male or female, that insists on cheating on their SO. Hetero or not. (Especially the ones who feel the rest of us want to hear about their escapades. Some wimmins are beyond belief in this area, let me tell you!) </vent>

Anyone who said anything to the effect that we don't talk about hetero people and their orientation is correct, and that I probably know people who are gay and just don't know it because they are people, and people are people. For that reason, I am deleting my thread for the sake of not offending anyone, gay or hetero, because you are all my friends.
I thank everybody who contributed.

Now I got that bad 80s song in my head.
People are people, so why should it be...

You can bash me for my hetrosexuality if you want to! Seriously I always feel anything can be discussed here in an adult manner. Unlike some other places, people are not mean spirited here and can exchange ideas without feeling or giving offense. I love you guys.

that would be like 29 million people. I think that number is quite high.
What source are they using to quote that number
2 of our 4 women at the po po are gay. They are the only people I know that are gay.

I know two. One female, and one male. Both are outstanding people. I treat them just like anyone else. Of course there are probably more where I am not privy to their orientation.
