again. this first grade teacher is late bringing her students, and this is the 2nd time in about a month. I never know whether to send for them or not. It's free time for me, and if the teacher can't remember her schedule why should I chase her down? she's losing her contractual prep time, not me.
on the other hand, I have a curriculum and lessons to complete with these students, and this is taking away from them.

well, they came, and it was a substitute teacher. she was also late picking them up, which was cutting into my riff raff time

Cut the sub some slack, unless she is a regular sub. If she's a regular, she should know better. Let me tell you, those subs enjoy prep time. I know.

i subbed for 5 years, i always cut them some slack. she is someone that is around often, so she should know, but taking care of all that morning stuff can put a sub behind very quickly.
still, it messed up my time with the kids.

You're right--heck, one bloody nose or a child going potty on the floor instead of the potty can really start the day off bad.
