So Marshalls (discount clothing, it's where my wife works) was having a 20% off discount for employees over the weekend.
I went in to look over some of the active wear because it's usually cheap and another 20% off just makes it that much better of a deal.
I found some nice running shorts, I had my wife buy them and save them for my birthday/father's day.
They also had some white compression shorts. I passed on those.

Other than occasionally seeing them under the shorts on a basketball court, who would go with white there?

Compression shorts are useful. But you are right - they're meant to be functional only. And nevah evah in white.

I had a buddy in DC that would skate in white compression shorts and almost commando/ he wore a jockstrap...the hotter the day the more you could see  yeah not a good idea.
