so 6 weeks ago, i told everyone that i would be using part of my financial aid money to purchase a new notebook computer so that i could take my work back and forth between home and school and not fight to use the internet at home. the bfs dad says "no, dont buy one. ive got an extra one at the office that ill fix up for you"
three weeks later, it arrives. its slow, but hey, it was free.
a week later, i finally get the bf to help me install the wireless card. it doesnt work. he tells me go buy a new computer.
 kay. so i find an acceptable one a week later. i attempt to purchase it online.
no go. so i call the 1-800 number and find out the website is having difficulties. fine, i can order it over the phone. so i do so and ask for next day shipping because at this point, i have to have a poster ready for the conference in about 3 weeks. the guy says that an order confirmation will be sent to my email.
next day (tues). still no confirmation. so i call back. the new guy cant find my order. when he does my name, address, and shipping info are wrong. so everything gets fixed and he tells me it will go out that day.
day after that (wed). i get an email that the computer shipped. (not the day before like i was promised, but what ever) i go to check its progress on UPSs site.
two days later (today). ITS HERE! ITS HERE! its like xmas in october because i also got some clothes i orderd online today too! so i manage to get my mp3 software installed, but the frikkin wireless wont work. the bf says its the router, well go get one tomarrow.
so after all that drama, i still cant use my computer!
