Oscars, that is. I did very well in my poll and won some cash. Feel free to add your own likes and dislikes to this list.

Good
JOHNNY DEPP - looked fantastic.

Will Ferrell & Jack Black's intro. Both are surprisingly gifted singers, and their deadpan delivery of that hilarious song was one of the few interesting points in an otherwise boring, lackluster telecast.

Billy Crystal. Always funny. Opening montage extremely funny, especially part where Michael Moore got stomped on by a LOTR creature.

Shohreh Aghdasloo from "House of Sand and Fog". What a stunner.

Annie Lennox - never looked better.

Charlize Theron's acceptance speech - humble, heartfelt, to the point, sweet.

Renee Zellweger - great speech, particularly because she didn't read it. Nice touch to thank all those she's worked with who gave her a valuable lesson (aka Cruise, Donofrio). Her dress was kind of weird, though.

Sofia Coppola - great movie, deserved more. Flat speech, though.

Tim Robbins. A very talented man who was justly rewarded. Great job in bringing awareness to victims' rights and assistance. Glad he's learned where and when it is and is not appropriate to discuss your personal agenda. He could teach his wife a thing or two.

Keisha Castle Hughes. This girl is THIRTEEN. What a beauty.

2nd BEST DRESSED: Catherine Zeta-Jones - literally looked red hot. Had the whole package going.

BEST DRESSED: Angelina Jolie - motherhood is suiting her very well. Elegant, understated, timeless beauty. Particularly stunning after some of her past outfits . The back of this was gorgeous.

Bad
Susan Sarandon & Jamie Lee Curtis practically falling out of their dresses due to ... lack of support.

Jim Carrey's intro for the Blake Edwards award. So not funny.

Owen Wilson & Ben Stiller's shameless plug of the soon-to-be-released "Starsky & Hutch". Embarassing.

Sandra Bullock channeling Bjork.

Michael Douglas trying to look cool in shades. You are NOT Nicholson.

Bill Murray - I was rooting for him to win due to the nostalgia vote (but I guess they gave out too many of those for the LOTR sweep ).

LOTR wins for best editing - how is THIS possible?

Liv Tyler's voice - I can't stand it; TALK already. How Steven Tyler spawned that is beyond me.

WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?
Diane Keaton. Someone please get this woman a stylist and tell her she is NOT the reincarnation of Buster Keaton.

Nicole Kidman's hair. Ever since pffff said her hair matches her face, I can't get that thought out of my head. She looks like she's had some work done, too. Her face is getting weird looking.

Peter Jackson & his wife - invest in a comb. You both consistently look like you've just come off of a three week bender. And dude, buy a suit that fits. Men should button their coats when not standing.

WORST DRESSED: Uma Thurman. A face of Lancome who has no powder for all that shine? What was with that dress - a tablecloth with a brocade sash?

I liked Diane Keaton's outfit. Stylish, yet classy, and it felt like it was channeling Annie Hall.

At least Sandra Bullock left the swan at home. Razz

I think we saw Zellweger all "beefed up" for the next Bridget Jones movie.

I didn't see the show, but I WANT Angelina Jolie's dress (after seeing it here) as my wedding dress. And yes, I can finally say I honestly have the body and the back to pull it off. Thank you, elkid, for finding my dress!

(My dad might have a kitty, but, it's my wedding, right?!)

Other than that, I have one question. When did Jamie Lee Curtis get boobs? She was always so slender!

Ok, I lied. Two questions. What is up with the puffy/sash/bell/wedding cake tier thing? That look will not flatter anyone, I don'tcare how gorgeous you are naturally.

Trust me, Jamie Lee Curtis always has had boobs.
Yes, she was slender, but slender with boobs.

She was a big star back when I was a teenager.
I remember stuff like this.

I agree with the Kid mostly, CZJ looked amazing, Susan Sarandon: NO. Peter Jackson, a genius you may be but lets get a makeover for the next Oscars we're nominated for, mmmkay? Uma's dress I did not understand.

Honorable mention: Jennifer Garner: gorgeous orange dress, Diane Lane, Nicole Kidman.

My favorite dress: Charlize

My jury is still out on: Renee's dress. Maybe it was just her awkward entrance via the stairs...I liked it, but then I didn't, but then I wasn't sure....

I have to thoroughly disagree with Elkid on:
Angelina Jolie. What was she going as here, Princess Leia?? I don't like it. But I also don't like tattoos, that might have been the majority of my problem. Well, that and her boobs flopping...

Sandra Bullock: LOVED THIS! Not Bjork in the least, elegant, classic, glamourous and I believe that dress was made for her. Best I've ever seen her look.

Ok, perhaps it's the dress. I just remember this attractive, size-proportionate woman and all of a sudden it's BOOM!

It's the dress. That looks like she tied a towel around herself and added a bow.

anybody else notice that will ferell could boom his voice out better than jack black? either way it was a great song.

i loved billy crystal doin' the robin williams impersonation... the rest of the night was, how shall we say, weak?

Maybe Angelina's dress wasn't all that great. I don't know. dunno

She could pretty much wear a gunny sack, and I'd think it looked good.

Oh no she didn't. According to my friend the nurse, JLC was in medical textbooks because she was born a hermaphrodite Shocked . She was flat as a board in Halloween, then in Perfect, boobs a plenty. Something happened in between there.

Kristin - she's been pretty vocal about the changes in her body from the aging process. Last year she did a spread in a magazine (can't remember which one) where they did "real" photos of her, and showed them side-by-side of retouched ones because she wanted to spotlight the magic of pictures does not reflect reality. Amazing difference.

I loved Renee's dress! And her hair. Stunning. I also loved Nicole's hair... she's gotten thinner, which really suits her height, and her hair is gorgeous. Johnny Depp looked great but I'd rather SEE his face, and not through hair. Catherine looked fab. Diane Keaton is one of my favorites... she marches to her own drummer; I love that about her. She's never been one to join the throng of sheep.

I loved LOTR, so I'm glad they won enough to make a record... no matter who wins how many prizes it doesn't make this year's great movies any less great.

Can I be Catherine Zeta-Jones in my next life?

She's stunning and so beautiful!
I wish I could look like her after having 2 children.
I'm sure she doesn't have to do much to look like she does.
I could be wrong.
