so each of us has something that i am sure they like to do off season that they never seem to have time for during the routine training.
besides foods, and obvious choice what are yours?
mine i like to find alternate routes around places. today it paid off. sun, warmth and blue skies so i left the bike home today and came into work SKATING a route i found on last weeks "mental health day". i found a route i can skate relatively safely, is a bit longer than the bike route but takes me just as much time as the bike route. I figured you were kidding but i have learned not to take much for granted.
i learned i had to have an "off season " or i burn out, it loses it enjoyment factor and i get too depressed, i guess it's more an over training thing. but so the winter is my Off Season time.

Some hiking, relaxing and swimming at the beach during the summer, snowboarding in the winter, fishing and crabbing, camping....what more can you ask for from someone living on the west coast?
