Posted: 04/10/03 - 14:37 Post subject: the bachelor? anyone??
I know there aren't many of you (if any) who watch the bachelor but please tell me SOMEONE watched last night?!
On this season's Bachelor (with toolboy Andrew Firestone?) there is a girl on the show, Amber, from "atlanta, ga" but really she's from Louisville (my hometown) she's been in atlanta for a matter of 3-4 months. Needless to say I know people who know people who know her. Well....last night she gets TANKED. We're not even talking "pulling a cheryl" We're talking PUKING. OOC. Fine. Everyone's done it once, you get embarrassed, swear off drinking for a while, learn to handle your beer and its fine. Maybe not on national television, but fine, I'll give her once. Except she did it TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW. I thought the Bachelor was going to have to hold her up as he gave her a rose (yes, he gave her a rose after that....) SO funny....its amazing what people will do for millions of people on tv....
anyone else catch this?? I'm so embarrassed she's from Louisville...at least thats not widely known....

Well, my twin, I sat through it last night - just for you.
I cannot believe he picked Tina - not the one from Wisconsin, she's cool, but the other one. And the puker didn't deserve it either.
Is it me, or is the most intense part of any of the bachelor/ette shows when the host comes out and has to tell everyone that there is only one rose left? IT PUTS ME ON PINS AND NEEDLES!!!

I really don't understand why they even go through the exercise of this show anymore--guess it is to be suprised when one of the couples actually does stay together 3 mths down the road.

Actually, I think it's more for the fun of watching the losers cry.

Ok- I have never watched the bachelor. I did watch the bachellorette for about 5 minutes one time. Then I decided a re-run of Sienfeld would be more enlightening!
Some random thoughts came to me during that 5 minutes:
We are born naked, wet, and hungry. Then things get worse. I used to have a handle on life. Then it broke. LOTTERY: A tax on people who are bad at math. Warning: Dates in calendar are closer than they appear.

Do you have a pithy saying of the day calendar--or do you think these gems up yourself?
