$9 for a haircut so I give the old dude a tenspot and call it even. He asks me how I want it cut - I say short, but not too short. He handles it.

Shelf: is there a picture from this millennium of you anywhere? I just can't think of you living in such a cool place yet have that smooth "Bigger the hair, the closer to God" mullet with appropriate jewelry visual.

White men should not shave their heads - they only wind up looking like a thumb.

I agree - there is not substitute for experience and there are plenty of good quality barbers around here (and I imagine in your neck of the woods too) and in the $8-12 range.

I disagree. Mr Aire and the Group Commander both do and they are
I get mine cut for $12. Much like Rob I tell her, keep it shoulder length but do what you want.
I agree with Jrjo: Barber shops are cool places. Great place to talk about hockey. (I miss Mr Aire's haircuts for that reason alone) The last wholly male dominion left, if you ask me.

First one of those I ran across was in a Canadian Mall. I thought it was a FANTASTIC idea. Two small rooms: One as a lounge, changing room, the other was the "facility". No worries about preverts in the mall or going to two separate bathrooms. This obviously was the perfect answer to the dilemma: you're a dad with a small daughter what do you do ?

What about not white people? Wouldn't they look like not white thumbs, too?
