Just fitting isn't it? Is it dead when you turn the key or does the engine sound like it's churning, but never turns over?

It doesn't turn over its just clickclickclickclickclick. I think I need to jump the battery. Possibly buy a new one. I don't drive the car much at all, so its not getting charged up I guess? Good times, good times.
note to self: time to buy my own jumper cables

Yes!, Yes!, Yes!
You should at least drive your car every couple days around the block or down the street. A sitting car will break down faster than a car that runs.

I have driven it almost everyday this week though, I drive down to the park, or the dry cleaners. Yesterday I drove probably 30ish miles...so you vote new battery?
and I already got the jumper cable lecture from my dad and 2 different friends. I'm sorry. They scare me.

Dad says its not that its dead, it just doesn't have enough charge to get the starter started. The radio comes on, the dings ding, the interior and dash lights light....just clickclickclickclickclick

Dad's right. It's got a partial charge on it which means either:
1. The battery is on it's last legs and won't hold a charge
2. Your alternator or voltage regulator crapped out and isn't charging the battery.
My guess is no. 1.

I hear it's going around.
Take your battery to Wal-Mart and have them test it.

Hmmm. I don't think it's your battery. I think it's your starter. Seems like when mine went out, I heard that clickclickclick you described. I could be wrong though.
