Friday: Did my last run for the week
Went out for dinner since it was my Mum's birthday bash.
Saturday: Went on a fishing/crabbing expedition with Dad on the Zodiac and had nice filling seafood dinner (5 crabs and 4 fish)
Sunday: Church, siesta, babysitting my 2 siblings while parents were out
Monday: No work today for me since Canada Day's tommorrow and there's really no point of me doing any experiments b/c I have to come in on Canada Day to check results. Maybe going out for a run this afternoon.
Tuesday: Canada Day Very Happy Nothing planned out yet.

Late post because I was away and finally have something to report...was busy and fun.
Early Friday: began drive to Marshall, Michigan for cousin's wedding
Late Friday: went to another cousin's house for big BBQ and swimming (for the kids, too cold for me)
Saturday: got a run in, men on gold outing, me & kids to historic town to walk & gawk(boring to said kids, neato to me), garden wedding, visit with relatives, back to hotel late
Sunday: sleep in, go to other cousin's lakeside home for brunch, kids swim in lake, I eat grilled salmon mmmm, drive to uncle's dairy farm on west side of state, remember the smell associated with said dairy farm, visited with more relatives, feed the calves, watch the milking, walk and walk around the farm, go look for the den of coyotes that have inhabited one of my cousin's fields (no luck)
Monday: More farm fun, kids ride quads with the dad, go on a crop tour (you haven't lived until you've driven an hour to be able to see all the crops, 1600 acres), drive a tractor, feed the calves, lifeguard as the kids swim and swim, visit graves of ancestors with my dad, hugged my teary-eyed uncle goodbye, drive home to arrive at 1am on Tuesday

It was ....interesting...as the Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times"

At least I got to see some friends and hear some really good music.

I now have a bunch of roses and a raging ear infection (I've never had one before and they HURT!!!) along with a sinus infection that won't die. Thank god my allergist had free samples of antibiotics.

I think I may just require larger diamonds for my navel after this weekend....grrrr.....
