Little Poky brought home her report card yesterday and I swear it looked exactly like mine(all excellent grades except for sucky handwriting  ) when I was her age including teacher comments.   Sadly enough my handwriting has not improved with age.

My boy get's similar comments about his handwriting. When the teacher saw my handwriting, she knew where it came from
Is it bad when the second grade teacher gives a U to the parent in handwriting

After third grade, they said to stop writing cursive.
I have followed that advice.
"Bart, do you know cursive?"
"Yeah, I know 'hell' and 'damn'..."

my handwritng was teh suck. i even had teacher have me record my homework and workassignments at time. they knew i knew the subjects, but they could never read the writing.
guess what, it's still teh suck and both my parents have great handwriting.
