My BIL and I had to fix some of the external foundation of our house. I had to dig a ditch where a window well was that was sealed over and re seal the window with some foundation coating. The substance is a lot like roof tar. I was in a 3 foot deep hole by 24 inch wide and got this tar all over me. It took me longer to get the tar off me than to put it on the house.

I ended up taking a bath in "goof off" which took the stuff right off. I was using rubbing alcohol for about 20 minutes before and my skin was almost rubbed raw.

Now I am hoping for rain to see if my patches worked where I have a basement leak.
