I've had them at my SC and AZ homes. I never notice a problem with the water pressure when their on, no. In AZ, we're on a drip system. Some of the areas get water dripped on them (slowly) instead of a steady stream jetted out. Mine are set for very early morning hours or late in the evenings.

Once the grass starts growing in the spring we can't wait for it to die.
My husband has the fine art of scalping the lawn so it dies even quicker.
I last mowed before the 4th of July. It's been that dry here. Grass has been dead for months.
