I'm looking for an online table that lists conversions of MPH to pace...Does anyone know of one, so I don't need to use a calculator everytime?

That will work unless you're running faster than 5 min./mile. Wink

This is depressing since it seems harder for me to run on a tread than on the road anyway:

Effort-based Treadmill Training Speeds
*Running Speed on a treadmill with no incline (zero percent) is actually slower than running on a flat road or track surface since it takes less effort because you do not have to overcome air resistance on a treadmill. The % numbers represent the percent grade of the treadmill.

This weekend is supposed to be nice. Why not go out and run this weekend? Heck, I'll be in Schererville again this weekend. If the GF let me, I'd be willing to meet up for a nice run. Schererville's not that far from you.

oh.for.crying.out.loud!!!!!!!!! No wonder I was dead tired on Tuesday. I have the chart printed out but I have the percentages moved over one column (I didn't have 0%)......so I was mad when I had trouble with my last mile of my tempo workout when I was set at 9.5 and found out that it converts to 6:22 at 2% incline and I used to be able to do 6:18 no problem. Shoot that's at 1%......at 2% it's frigging 6:09. I was hanging on my treadmill for dear life. Embarassed Confused

You know, I was thinking, does the 2% increase really make the workout that much more difficult, and it really did. I remember when I was living in WI and had hills as a regular part of my routine I dropped (and this was running around 10 miles a week less than I had been) the time I wanted off my 5K time and without speedwork. I think hills really make that much difference in training.

Once I put my treadmill at a 6:00 mph pace to see what that would be like, and I fell off. Shocked
