so it looks like lots of suggestions have been made about the board but none of them have been implemented.
is that because this place is so dead, or because the admins really dont care about our opinions/suggestions?
maybe if the admins were more responsive, this place might pick back up?
or if they really dont care that much, there are plenty of other places we can post.

Hi crazyfrog!
I would really love to here some suggestions for the forum.
I joined later to the forum staff, so I never had a chance to make official intro here.
I'm bothered with lack of posts and members' inactivity. I would love if that could be changed.
So, feel free to post some suggestions and ideas, you won't be ignored.
Cheers!

the reason not many members are active is because of a lack of response from the new owners who took over a while ago. and also because pms were disabled and never turned back on as well as a number of other things.
most of us have moved on...not sure if we would be willing to come back.

If you are willing to contribute this community, then you're welcome. However, PM's won't be enabled since this feature has nothing to do with regular discussion board activities. As I can remember you were the one of old members who tried to sabotage any positive change made on this forum. As you can remember, PMs were disabled because some members with higher permissions abused our trust and spammed around telling other members to leave this place.
Anyway, this place will exist with or without such members.
If you are ready to continue contributing this community, then you can do it without PM system as well.
Cheers!

PM's are an integral part of any board. I'm sure you'll find hundreds of instances where someone wanted advice, but didn't want to share with the whole community. The PM allows a person to receive confidential advice.
The PM was not necessary to the exodus that emptied this site. The absence of it has definitely contributed to people leaving. If you aim to keep the feature disabled, perhaps you should consider removing all traces of it so new members don't realize that they're being denied typical board features.
